Egyptian pilot Walid Murad has become the talk of the world after he succeeded in what many of his colleagues failed by landing his plane in the heart of Heathrow Airport despite the storms.

The British media highlighted Murad after he managed to land skillfully and smoothly at Heathrow Airport in London, despite the swaying of his plane due to Storm "Eunice" that hit the country.

Murad succeeded in landing the "EgyptAir" plane from the first time, with the utmost efficiency and professionalism, although the pilots of other planes made two or three attempts or changed their destination to Frankfurt Airport, Germany.

Today, Pilot Amr Abu Al-Ainin, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Holding Company for EgyptAir, praised the performance of pilot Walid Murad, the pilot of EgyptAir flight MS777 of the Boeing B787-9 Dreamliner.

Abu Al-Enein said that Murad and his crew dealt with professionalism and skill during the landing of the plane at Heathrow Airport, amid an unprecedented weather phenomenon that Britain witnessed.

The Egyptian pilot excelled

Pilot Amr Abu Al-Ainin stressed that this situation is not new to the sons of “EgyptAir”, as all EgyptAir pilots are characterized by high efficiency and professionalism in dealing with various emergency situations and conditions, and they are internationally recognized for their efficiency and training at the highest level, especially in the face of bad weather conditions during takeoff and landing. .

He continued, "The human element in the various EgyptAir companies, including pilots, engineers, administrative technicians and others from various disciplines, is among the most efficient elements in the field of air transport industry and holds international certificates and accreditations."

Storm Eunice

Storm Eunice led to the inability of many flights to land and diverted many flights from Heathrow to other airports, and a large number of airlines canceled their flights at the capital's airports.

The Met Office called on Britons to stay at home, and issued a red alert, the highest in southwest England and south Wales, which made the conduct of the EgyptAir flight and its smooth landing praised in the English and international newspapers.
