Plastic artist Sally El-Zeini, PhD, in the Graphic Department at the Faculty of Fine Arts, launched her new exhibition called “The Scene,” in which she displays paintings of famous and influential films in the history of Egyptian cinema. She added in a statement:
The Scene Gallery presents visual texts parallel to those scenes engraved in memory, with a special figurative presentation of the highest cinematic scene, and a special blend of a group of influential scenes in the film, after adding my own impressions about those scenes, which differ in their treatment from the direct form of the original cinematic scene, respectively from Through twenty mixed media artworks
El-Zeini has drawn paintings related to films dating back to the sixties of the last century, such as " Al- Bostaji ", a novel by Yahya Haqqi that was later converted into a movie starring the artist Shukri Sarhan, as well as " Cairo 30 " and " Miramar " by the great writer Naguib Mahfouz, and " The Beginning and the End " And “ Red My Heart ” by Youssef Al-Sibai, “ The Second Wife ” by Ahmed Rushdie, and “ Doaa Al-Karwan ” by the great writer Taha Hussein.
