Paris Saint-Germain made a huge offer for its star Kylian Mbappe, which would make the French international player the highest-paid in the history of football.
According to the British newspaper, The Independent, the management of Paris Saint-Germain offered Mbappe to stay with the French club and renew his contract in exchange for a significant increase in his salary of approximately 600,000 euros, to receive a weekly wage of 1.2 million euros.
The newspaper confirmed that the player is studying the offer made to him, which would make him receive the highest salary in the history of football.
Mbappe's contract with Saint-Germain expires next summer, and the French striker has so far rejected all offers of renewal with the Parisian team.
Many reports claim that Mbabi, 23, has settled his position and will move to Real Madrid next summer through a free deal, after the royal team failed to sign him in the Mercato last summer due to the intransigence of the Paris team's management.
